JB Hoover is a driven entrepreneur and the Principal & Founder of National Quality Construction, a nationwide company specializing in rehabilitating distressed and foreclosed properties. Based in Newport Beach, California, Hoover has built his career by identifying opportunities in challenging situations, turning underperforming assets into profitable, high-quality homes, and creating lasting value for homeowners and investors alike.

Hoover’s entrepreneurial journey began toward the end of his college years when a friend introduced him to the world of construction. Intrigued by the process of transforming raw structures into functional, desirable spaces, he decided to explore the field more deeply. This initial curiosity evolved into a passion for building and managing projects, eventually leading him to establish his own company and take the reins of complex real estate ventures.

Before founding National Quality Construction, JB served as Vice President of Construction for a boutique homebuilder in San Clemente, California. In this role, he managed more than fifteen multi-family housing projects simultaneously, overseeing all aspects from bid procurement to project completion and property disposition. Hoover’s responsibilities also included leading a team of 20+ employees, coordinating subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants, and managing relationships with appraisers, realtors, and title companies. This early experience provided Hoover with a strong foundation in leadership, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making skills he continues to leverage as a successful entrepreneur.

At National Quality Construction, Hoover’s entrepreneurial vision focuses on Real Estate Owned (REO) properties homes that become available after foreclosure auctions fail to attract buyers. He recognizes opportunity where others see challenge, transforming distressed properties into high-quality, market-ready homes. For Hoover, entrepreneurship isn’t just about profits; it’s about making an impact, whether it’s helping families find their dream homes or creating value for investors and partners through careful planning, execution, and innovation.
